Kids' Recollection

128 Kids from St. Columban's College (Lingayen) and Mary Help of Christians Catholic School (Basista) attended a whole day recollection at LFC. Most of them are graduating from elementary school, but a huge group are also finishing the Grade 5 level.

After the mass, Fr. Mario asked the children to tell their parents to attend Sunday Eucharist more often so that they can be more familiar with the responses, and also to behave properly in the Church out of love and respect for the divine presence. However, he congratulated all the kids for their great enthusiasm and interest in the recollection - evidenced by their attentive listening during the homily, and also during the two conferences given to them.

There was so much joy to have the children for recollection today. The 10-11 year old pupils had a great day - laughing, crying, praying, playing! Sometimes, we forget that there is always a child within us. The children in these pictures just show the sacredness of joy. God bless the children!

KIDS Recollection

More than 60 kids from St. Charles Academy (Grade III) experienced going to a recollection for the first time in their lives. They just received their first Holy Communion more than a month ago, and their enthusiasm during the spiritual exercises is very heart warming. Sometimes, by God's grace we inspire people here at LFC. This time, we were the ones who were inspired by the simplicity, kindness and sweetness of these children "of God."

Our recollections now are being opened by Fr. Mario, and a major conference is given by Sis. Silvana de Vera. Sis. Susan Aoanan and Sis. Belma Ibasan facilitate the group activities and the meditation.

This is the first time that the elementary pupils and the High School students of St. Charles Academy, San Carlos City under the able directorship of Fr. Jimmy Quinto are having their recollection at LFC. The first experience is memorable for us at LFC who saw the students enjoy their one day with the Lord!
