SEMINAR on FILIPINO SPIRITUALITY

For the fifth year, Fr. Mario gives a seminar on Filipino Spirituality (his doctoral research) for the seminarians at the Spiritual Formation Year (SFY) in Vigan. In September, he has also been invited already by Mother Celeste, OSB, the Abbess of the Benedictine Nuns to give the same seminar to the Benedictine nuns and monks also in Vigan.

College Seminary's Christimas Luncheon with the Seminarians' Families

LFC serves the annual Christmas meal for the Families of the College Seminarians for the third straight year. More than 150 family members attended the celebration which followed the Eucharist at the Seminary Chapel and which was followed by the Christmas Program at the Limon Hall.

Pangasinan Seminarians of ICST, Vigan

FILIPINO SPIRITUALITY

Fr. Mario goes to Vigan (September 1 & 2) to give a seminar for the seminarians in the Spiritual Formation Year (SFY). His doctoral dissertation research on FILIPINO SPIRITUALITY was the topic for the two-day, four-conference formation, with strong emphasis on POPULAR DEVOTIONS, the specific trait of the spirituality of most Filipinos.

MINOR SEMINARIANS (Senior Class)

The Senior Class of the Mary Help of Christians Minor Seminary experienced a day with the Lord at LFC on July 15-16.

Fr. Mario gave them a conference on the methodology of praying with the Bible (Lectio Divina). He was joined in the evening by Sis. Susan who led a meditation which geared towards an appreciation of the vocation that the Lord has given them.

The recollection (class encounter) was, as usual, culminated by the Eucharistic Celebration and Lunch by the Tondaligan Beach.
