BIBLIODRAMA Seminars


The John Paul I (Regional) Biblical Center organized a seminar on BIBLIODRAMA from April 19 t0 27. The first three days were fore participants to undergo the experience, while the last six days were for the training of facilitators. Bishop Rene Mayugba is the Regional Biblical Apostolate Director of Northern Luzon.

Easter Season GROUPS

LFC had a short break during the Easter Week, but we have had a few groups already. April 9 - we housed the members of the batch 1980 of the Minor Seminary KABALENS for their reunion, led by Dr. Joseph Mejia and Fr. Mario Morales. April 10 - we had the seminar for PPCRV lawyers from the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan and Diocese of Alaminos, facilitated by LENTE.

Today, the COMMUNIO for Integral Development, Inc. celebrated their 12th Foundation Anniversary here at LFC. Their theme: Living the Communio with the New Archbishop. The Most Rev. Socrates B. Villegas gave a conference and presided over the concelebrated Mass with the members. Fr. Camilo Natividad, Fr. John Palinar and Fr. Bert Arenos are the leaders of the COMMUNIO.

Regional Meeting of Catechetical Leaders

Despite the heavy rains, the Northern Luzon Catechetical Council Meeting pushed through at the Lay Formation Center. Those who have been severely affected by the typhoon "Pepeng" in the Ilocos Region were not able to make it. Bishop Artemio Rillera, the regional head, and Fr. Andres Cosalan led the meeting.

SKILLS ENHANCEMENT TRAINING IN ENGLISH, SCIENCE and MATHEMATICS by the University of Luzon



"The University of Luzon – the first higher education institution in Region 1 granted AUTONOMOUS STATUS by the Commission on Higher Education in recognition of its meritorious accomplishments, adherence to quality assurance, commitment to public responsibility and accountability, through its College of Education, deputized as a Center of Training by the Commission on Higher Education, Department of Education, and Professional Regulation Commission welcomes all the participants in this intellectual gathering for the Skills Enhancement training in Science, English and Mathematics of secondary teachers in the public schools all over the province of Pangasinan.


The purpose of this training program is to upgrade, enhance, sustain and revitalize the Quality of Education in our public school system in the Region by “re-energizing teachers, who in turn will revitalize their classrooms.”
